"The reason a dog has so many friends is that  he wags his tail instead of  his tongue." -Anonymous

If you are interested in adopting one of our puppies please go to the Adoption Application page. We will reply to every application, and contact you immediately.

I hope this will help those of you new to the process to understand what goes on. Many are getting a puppy from quite a distance away, and will many times pick their puppy from pictures alone. We will do everything we can to help you find your new family member.

When we accept your application, we will hold it until the puppies are born. If you are still interested, you will be required to send a non-refundable and non-transferable  deposit. We accept a $300 deposit towards the price of the puppy. We accept:  certified check, bank check, money order or Cash

No credit cards and No personal checks accepted!

Puppies must be paid for in advance. We accept the following for payment:
~ certified check
~ Bank check
~ Money order
~ Cash

No credit cards and No personal checks accepted!

This will guarantee you an option to get one of the puppies, and will be deducted from the final payment. See Terms and Conditions

If you do have a deposit and there are not enough puppies, your name will go to the top of the next waiting list.

We will be looking to match the pups temperament and personality with a families application, including preferences and placing each pup in a home we feel is perfect for them.

Important: It is possible that one puppy may receive more requests for their adoption and others do not receive any requests. In almost every case, you will not be the only one requesting the adoption of an individual puppy. If there is a puppy that does not receive requests for an adoption or the right home is not found out of the applicants who request the adoption, we will open the application link so others may submit their application for the adoption of that puppy until we do find the best home. Obviously only one family can receive the puppy. (Please keep this in mind and make it clear to the children in the family, and yourself. Don't count on anything until the final payment is paid)

*** If you want the puppy, paypal is the quickest. If we do not receive your deposit and someone else gets one in before you then the puppy is theirs. Some litters go very fast.***

I pick up the mail at the post office once a week. Please notify me about your deposit

After sending the deposit, should you decide not to adopt a  puppy, you will forfeit your deposit. Remember, the reason for the deposit is to show your commitment to one of our  puppies, if you change your mind the loss of your deposit is your penalty. Please think about it and talk it over with everyone involved BEFORE submitting an application.

Remember the more you require of your puppy's appearance or gender, the more difficulty we will have finding the right puppy. The more difficult, the longer the wait.

Our puppies....

All of our puppies are born in the house in our bedroom, or our daughter's bedrooms- Each of us have our favorites and each of us are responsible for these puppies from conception on... so they are part of our family from the beginning.

At 2 weeks the puppies are wormed.

By the age of 4 weeks, the puppies are moved to the main portion of the house where they can begin exploring new sounds, smells, and tastes. They begin the weaning process then. They are wormed again at this time.

At 5 weeks of age they are allowed to go outside, weather permitting.

At 6 weeks of age, they have their aptitude test, go to the vet for all the necessary immunizations, wormings, medications, well-puppy check-up, etc

At age 8 weeks, the puppies are wormed again. If you have the puppy at this time, you are responsible for worming the puppy. This is a common procedure, and should not surprise anyone that the puppy has worms. As with all living things, puppies carry germs also...take precautions, wash your hands frequently and do not put their feces in your mouth by way of your dirty hands, or you will end up with worms also.

At 9 weeks and 12 weeks the puppies are due for their next series of vaccinations. They get the rabies shot after age 6 months.

We also observe  and play with the puppies over the first 5 weeks to see their reactions to one another and to notice their interactions with people. This gives us a  good idea of what kind of environment each puppy will thrive in, and helps us find the right home for each puppy's personality.

When most people go to a breeder to adopt a puppy they do not get to see the puppy's true personality. We have had people come to see the puppies and choose one that may not be good for their situation. When we do testing it is done at the most active time of the puppy's day giving us accurate personality results. We really get to know the puppies personalities, and can  give you a description of each one.

We will then help you choose which puppy would fit into your family the best.
