One of the most memorable times of a child's life is the first time they went to a zoo.
Now you can bring that zoo to your home for a private party , school or company event.The magic of any event is watching a child discover an animal they have only seen in books. High Lonesome petting zoo offers complete hands on experience to both children and adults.
We feature a wide variety of animals in our zoo. Children and adults are free to pet and experience all the different types of sheep, goats, llamas, chickens, ducks and rabbits.
Most
of our Petting Zoo's will be there for 2 hours, minimum. The
cost doesn't include
mileage. With gas prices as they are, we are forced to add this. If you would
like us to stay longer, there is an added fee
Please note that these are live critters and just like humans, they have good days and bad days. We will do the best we can to provide you with the animals listed below, however, we will not force any of our critters to work when they are not feeling well. As a result, you may not get exactly the animals that are listed. High Lonesome can bring the animals on rainy days, however we will not come out if it is lightening.

MINI PETTING ZOO Spend time with our cute cuddly farm animals. When we arrive at your location we will set up our pens so that our "kids" can play with your "kids". We will bring a mix of about 10 small farm animals such as lambs, goats, ducks, chicks and a rabbit. During our stay the children will enjoy petting and feeding the animals.
Two hours: $300
Additional hours of service provided @ $125/hour.
BARNYARD BUDDIES
This zoo consists of 15 to 20 animals, the majority of which are small animals
like
bunnies, chickens, ducks, goat kids, and a piglet. Three or four larger
animals are also included, such as a calf, llama, a lamb and a large goat that
the children may be allowed to milk.

NATIVITY SCENE
Our Live Nativity package: The animals included are: 1 donkey, , 1 goat, 1 sheep, 2 doves or pigeons, 1 rooster. You may also to choose to add a rabbit, duck or chicken at no additional cost. This package normally has a minimum of 2 hours.
The cost for 2 hours is $650 - travel outside of a 120 mile radius is subject to a fuel surcharge
We also have a 6-7 animal package which includes: a goat, 1 sheep and 1-2 of the following: doves, pigeons, rooster, chickens, ducks, rabbit.
2 hours: $375 plus travel

Location Requirements ~ High Lonesome does not need much room for a petting zoo... A 9x12 foot area is plenty of room for the actual set...Leave additional space for participants to walk around. Adequate shade must be provided (such as under trees) or a shade canopy can be set up by High Lonesome for an additional cost.
