Thanks
Marcy for getting back with me. After I e-mailed you I went scissors happy. He
looks good!!!! He really only had a few long patches . I trimmed the outline of
his legs and lower body and tail. The hair on his neck and back was thick right
down the middle( just like a man) He Looks like a puppy again..... I'll take
some new pictures and send them to you. I have been reading up on their coats
and his is like FLEECE. It's very soft. We love this dog. He goes crazy every
night at about 7:45 for 10-15 minutes then crashes. He has been know to jump
over the coffee table during these spells. nothing broken yet ! It's the best
part of the night just watching him go crazy. H likes to takes a tennis ball up
the stairs watches it bounce down ,chases it, takes it up and does it all over
again. He's a good boy. Except for the 3 pairs of shoes he as chewed. (all mine,
He like the chase) he has been a gem.
Thanks again for everything and I will send those new pics. Take Care,
Sandy

Domino
made it home just fine...road great in the car and was such a good boy. He
hasn't whinned once and is just fitting in so nicely. He has the run of the
first floor, ignores the cats completely, likes to play hard, then crashes on
the kitchen floor (or wherever one of us happens to be). We brushed him out
good and noticed a few "hot spots" which I have been putting tea tree oil on.
I am going to trim him up a bit (Andy says trim it all off for summer..shame
on him!) and see if that helps. He really is just such a sweetie. He likes
the kids and has been for walks around the neighborhood...sticks right by our
leg and waits til we get home to do his business. Thanks for all the work you
put into him the first 10 months. We could not have asked for a better
mannered dog. Nobody believes us that he is still a pup...he is just so well
behaved. Even off leash! He just stuck right by Andy in the garage yesterday
while he was working on his jeep. He is always looking around to see where
each of us is and if one of the kids is "missing", he goes hunting for them.
He sleeps very well at night in the crate, though I think he would prefer not
to go in...new house, new rules maybe? He will get use to it, as I am sure he
knows the drill. He only barks for a few minutes, which is the only time we
ever hear him bark!

Dear Jim, Marcy + children,
Just a note to say Hi and tell you all about Abagail
Rose "Abby" As you can see she is growing by leaps and bounds.
She is a joy to have around and as you can see she has the run of the
house. She sleeps with our son Ben except when she gets mad and then she
goes to her beanbag in the den. Her best friend is our rooster
"Snowflake". Every morning she has to visit and help me feed and water. We have done very well potty training and not much
chewing at this point. I"m sure that will come. I'll send more pictures
and keep you up to date. We sure thank you for such a special puppy.

Dear Marcy and Jim, I am writing to you regarding a black lab we purchased from you in March of this year. I believe you called him "Almond Eyes", which you will see we kept in his name. We are thrilled with him. He is very smart and lovable. He loves to fish and ride in our boat. Roger and I agree that he could not have been raised from birth to adoption in a better environment. He is a very special and beautiful dog. Sincerely, Roger and Regina

Did you sell all of your German Shepherd puppies? I am the person from Indiana that purchased one of these. He will be 5 months old today and I can not tell you all the joy that he has given my husband and myself. I will try to get a picture to you so that you can also use it on your web site. He of course thinks that the house is his and all the dog toys should be his only. The weather is starting to break here and he loves the water, we have a lake and he reaches in a grabs for any leaves or sticks that he can find. Also, he has found his voice and tries to scare anything that he sees that he considers unusual (which includes my stuffed bears). If it moves he runs as fast as he can back to see if I will go forward with him. Anyway I thought I would drop a line and let you know how he was doing. His last visit to the Vet @ 12 weeks he was weighting in @ 40 lbs. He is going to be a big one.

Hi Marcy,
The picture is great. Bosco is terrific! I'm trying to train him to
go outside and so far he is
doing ok, (Only the first day) but he has had a few little accidents.
That's fine. This is a
learning process. When we got home yesterday, about 3:30, he went outside
and after we showed him
his new home he ate. He was very hungry. The girls are loving him so
much. They can't play
enough. Forget about studying, Bosco is much more fun. Tomorrow I am
taking him for his Vet
appointment and I'll keep in touch.
Thank you for everything!

Hi Marci
& Jim,
Hope all is well. Bosco is the best puppy and we have been having so much fun
with
him. He was neutered 2 weeks ago and is just fine. Here are some recent pics. I just got the digital camera and I will send better pictures when I
figure it all out. Hope your family is well and you all survived this terrible
winter. Best regards,
Laura

Hi Marci, Jim & Family,
It's
hard to believe it is a year that Bosco has been with us. He is so smart
and very handsome as you can see. At 14 months he is now 80 pounds. We are
letting his winter coat grow in
now and everyone comments on how beautiful his
coat is. I have recommended many people to your web site and keep telling people
how terrific Labradoodles are. We love Bosco so much! Hope all is well with your
family. Best regards always, Laura

Hello Marcy,
Greetings from Ripley, West Virginia. We
purchased a labradoodle puppy from you while you were
out of town. Just wanted to let
you know that Jimmy is doing great! He is a big boy (about 35 pounds) for 3 1/2
months old. He is very smart and can do many tricks already. Jimmy has become a
member of the family. I am attaching a few pictures of him. Have a happy holiday!

His Majesty King MUTLEY
Sun, 17 Oct 2004
Marcy and Jim;
Hi. We had a lovely trip
home; Mutley drank water from a bowl and ate his food from my hands while
sitting on
my
lap on the way home. He peed at a rest stop. He wagged his tail a lot. What a
good boy!
At home, he fits right in with my daughter’s Pomeranian and all our human visitors. Everyone falls in love with him immediately and wants one for themselves (I wouldn’t be surprised if I got some referrals for you!). He sticks right by my side which thrills me. I could never figure out why our other dogs liked me a lot but obviously adored another family member more. Now everyone asks ME, Hey, how come he likes YOU best? (heehee)
Anyhow, we love his temperament and disposition and couldn’t be more pleased. He is very eager to please us and is always looking to us for guidance. Of course, his look is irresistible and people are completely unafraid and eager to approach him. He’s a great fit for us and we’re all happy.

Marcy,
Thanks for the info. We love Mahone just as he is, but we're even more excited
knowing he'll be fairly big (just
what
we hoped for) and that he may have fluffy fur. The dogs in the pictures were so
precious. That's just what we wanted! We've known many, MANY puppies, and this
little guy has obviously had a good upbringing. He's so well-socialized, and has
kept my floor dry and piddles in the grass right when we take him out. I know
this means you have already worked with them to make my job easier, so thank
you. I got 2 puppies from pet stores who had no clue where to wet, and 1 from a
home breeder who had the puppies outside in a pen. The problem with this was
they were never taken out of the pen, so they weren't socialized at all, and had
no idea about wetting somewhere other than where they slept. He never did
socialize, and bit me several times, never housebroke, and ended up attacking my
baby out of jealousy. He had to be given to a farmer who had a lot of dogs and
no children. Anyway, I just want to assure you that your baby's happy and
well-appreciated.

Angel is growing and is very beautiful! She weighted 31# at her last vet
appointment. She is starting to get nice waves in her hair. Has a little bit of
white on her stomach. Her eyes were blue but appear to be changing to a ‘lab’
golden color. Great personality.
If only we hadn’t bought that retarded beagle for my son!!

Marcy,
Just wanted to bring you up-to-date on Sophie and thank you for sending her
medical record. I hope that you got the picture I sent via email. If not,
please let me know and I’ll resend. Her vet check went well. He thinks she’ll be
on the upper end of that 25-
35 lb range.

She’s been doing great. We still have some accidents, but sometimes we go days
in between those accidents - - I can’t complain at all about that. A neighbor
got a new puppy from a pet store and she has accidents (#1 & #2) in her kennel
all the time. Sophie has yet to have an accident in her kennel. We just love
her. You described her perfectly – she loves to play hard, but then is so
cuddly. And she’s learning new tricks very quickly.
Will send more pics soon. Hope all is well with your son.

Hi Marcy Mon, 27 Sep 2004
I wanted to send along a picture of Ozzie at 6 months. All summer
I'd hear people say
"it's
a lab w/ a beard!" He had a fabulous summer running the beach and attempting to
get into the very cold Maine waters. He is now 33 lbs, a lit wave to his hair,
and a bearded look around his face with some lightening of his facial hairs. He loves
to retrieve a ball, and has great energy to walk or run. The boys all enjoy him.
He doesn't leave my side, and wants to accompany me on every errand. Literally
everyone is very impressed w/ the non shedding labradoodle, and I've seen two
puppies in the last month in Andover. No one else has a miniature, and I've
referred many to your web site. He's a wonderful dog. Thanks Eileen and boys

Thought you may enjoy some
grown up pictures of Ozzie. We love him and think he is great. He has great
energy for the outdoors, and is very mellow inside. He is about 40 lbs. He is
loving the snow. Hope you had a nice holiday season. Eileen and boys.

Hi Marcia,
How are you? Chloe is doing wonderful. She is beautiful and a great dog.
She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She is going to doggy day care and
really loves it. We love her so much. She is a great addition to our home.
Thank you for everything. I have some friends that are interested in
getting a puppy from you. Will you be breeding mini chocolate labradoodles
any time soon? Hope that all is well with you.
Best Wishes, Jessica

Hi Marcy,
We
made it home to NJ in 7 hours -- not bad considering all the stops we
made!
Chloe was an angel in the car. She slept mostly either in her bed or on the
kids. She is adorable. She has adjusted to the house and her home. Whenever
she looks like she is
about to fall asleep we put her in her crate and she stays there and sleeps

for a while.
She slept through the night; she did have and accident in her crate though
-- I'll think I'll have to wake up once during the night and take her out.
The kids love her -- everyone who's met her thinks she adorable.Talk to you soon -- and thanks for such and adorable puppy!

peep! Talk to you soon! Sandy

Hi there,
As promised an update on how the new puppy is doing. Really well.
The journey back to New York was fine and we had no problems. He was very
good all the way home and even got into the bag at the airport on his own
before we boarded the plane. He then slept during the flight.
By the way, we've called him Seymour. He had a good old investigation when
he got here and slept tethered to the bed with just a few whimpers that were
easily stopped once he knew he wasn't alone. He's gorgeous and doing very
well. Still making mistakes of course but making more visits to the
newspaper every day. He's already happy sleeping in his crate through the
night, snuggled up. Here are some early photos of him. Hope you got home ok
and thanks - he's gorgeous.
Will send more as he puts on the pounds....

Marcy,
Hope all is well with you and your family. Just a couple of pictures of

Buddy with our son and daughter. He is an absolute dream of
a puppy.
He's
doing real well with housebreaking--much easier
than I thought. From the
beginning he slept quietly at night
without whining. He occasionally barks
quietly if he has to go out.
We're all head over heels!

Thanks. I have been so crazy busy since we got home I haven't even looked
through
everything in the packet you sent with us yet. The trip home went fine,
no problems.
Rose has been adjusting very well to our home. We have taken her
for several long walks
(2/3 mile) around the lake across the street from us and
she stays right along side us
without us holding the leash. She attracts a lot
of attention wherever we go because she is
so cute and has such a sweet
disposition. She is eating well, but she doesn't seem to get all
that excited
about the treats we offer her. I'm looking into puppy classes starting around
July 10.

Sun, 27 Jun 2004
Hey Marcy, just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your meeting us
in Princeton (West Virginia)...
It really cut a lot off our trip. Barlow slept most of the way
home but we did stop twice to walk her. Other than
that she did great in the
car. We've totally explored the house and the yard and played some. I was able
to get
her to eat a pretty good dinner. Maybe it was all the walking and play,
but I also ground the hard kibble up in a
food
processor and added the moist
food to it in her bowl, and she scarfed it right up. ( I had a dog that had
texture issues so I figured I'd grind the stuff up to see if that helped). I
also bought some
small kibble IAMS that I will start incorporating into the mix
you sent us home with.
She seems to have a great disposition and is getting a bit more comfortable in
her
surroundings. I can tell you really care for you dogs, and you and your
family spent a
great deal of time socializing the puppies, teaching them to walk
on a lead and getting
them comfortable with their crate. As a new pet owner, I
can't tell you how much I appreciate
all your hard work. Barlow's not been in the
crate since we got home, but I'll let her sleep in it
just to be sure we don't
have any accidents. So far so good - - - she's used the facilities outside and
all systems
seem to be working fine.
I'll give you an update once we see the vet tomorrow. Again thanks so much, we
are looking
forward to a long happy life with our new doodle. Michael

Dear Mr. and Mrs.
Lilly-
Our great fortune has been to acquire one of your puppies through rescue.
You sold her to a couple in Chapel Hill, NC. One of the couple became ill
and Bea
(they had named her Barlow if you have names of the puppies) was put
up for
adoption. She came to us last October from a litter of late March and
is not a little
over a year old. She is a black goldendoodle.
To my surprise when I checked out your web site, I discovered you were in
Birch River,
WV. I grew up in Summersville. My mom still lives in S'ville. I
am up visiting for the holiday and would love to visit
in some way. We have
Bea with us and wonder if you would like to see your grown up puppy. We
would love to visit
but recognize your concern to protecting your animals.
We could come today or tomorrow and do not need to bring
Bea if that would
make you uncomfortable. Daya B Note: We met with Daya
and her goldendoodle and had a
wonderful visit. It was great to see
Barlow...now Bea.She is a beautiful dog and has a wonderful personality and
has
gone through Canine Good Citizen through the AKC

Rylee

1/12/06
Hello Jim and Marcy
Happy New Year!! I hope you both had a wonderful Christmas.
Sorry it's been a while since we've been in touch. Things have been really
busy since we've adopted our little shepadoodle. This is just a little note
to catch up.
We've named her "Rylee". She is quite a little character. She's just over a
year, now, and is smart
as a whip! She's gone through 2 training classes,
and has graduated at the top of the class in each. (Whenever the teacher
wanted to use a dog for an example of something good, she used Rylee!) She
gets along famously with our 2 cats, and has made friends with the
neighbourhood dogs. (Each afternoon, we meet in a park, and all the dogs
play together. She is always friendly, and plays very well with the other
dogs.
She's become a favourite of many of our friends, and is always invited to
people's houses. She also plays very well with her cousin "Patches". If
the two of them could talk, I'm sure we'd hear them giggling like little
kids whenever they see each other.
She's very good at ball, and fetches amazingly well. She also enjoys soccer
.... she just loves chasing the ball and returning it for another kick.
All in all, she's just a wonderful, great, fun, friendly, beautiful dog.
Thank you.
I am attaching a few pics of her. I will send some shots of her as a pup in
another e-mail (as they are on a different computer). However, in the
meantime, here are some more recent shots of her.
I hope all is well in your neck of the woods, and that your pups are all
doing well.
Take care!
Heather and Lisa

Tuesday Feb. 15, 2005
Hi Marcy and James, We're sending along some pictures of the puppy, now known as "Rylee" She seems
to be settling in nicely. She enjoys running around in the yard, and has
adjusted well to the snow. She is slowly becoming chummy with our two
cats, "Worp" and "Whiddle". She certainly enjoys playing with them.
They have finally become more accustomed to her, and have
started spending more time with her. Rylee is doing well in the training
department. We've had very few accidents in the house. She is
generally good about letting us know when she has to go outside. She also
seems to enjoy her "apartment", in which she stays when we have to go to work.
Lisa has begun teaching her some tricks, as well. We've both been working
on teaching her to "sit" on command, and Lisa is trying to get her to offer her
"paw" when asked.
We took her to the vet last week, and she got a clean bill of health.
She'll be going for her next vaccination in another week or so, so we'll see
what happens then.
Our other outing with her was to the local Pet Smart for some treats.
Everyone who met her LOVED her. They were very interested in the breed and
we recommended you very highly. It was certainly great meeting you, and
we're grateful to you for getting us together with Rylee. (P.S. Her
favourite toys seem to be the konk - filled with peanut butter, and the dental
bone.)
Well, I must head off. We hope all is well, and we will keep sending
photos.
Take care,
Heather and Lisa

Just wanted to let you know that we arrived home safely, finally. What a trip!
Domino was such a good boy, much better than Eric really. He has settled in
nicely and the kids just love him. He went to his first vet appointment
yesterday and was pronounced "perfect". He has already stopped traffic here. He
is so sweet and smart and he is learning quickly. I can't thank you enough for
bringing him to us. It was so nice to meet you both, even briefly. Hope you had
safe travels and have returned home. I will send some pictures soon. Thanks
again! Coralie and Eric.

Hi Just a note to tell you how wonderfully Cleo has settled in, she did not miss one feed, and she now weighs 16 lbs. We will send you some pix in a couple of weeks. Best wishes, Andrew

Hi Marcy,
We decided to name the puppy Bailey; she
is just starting to respond to it...we think.
Ben, my boyfriend, is going to
spoil her rotten! He loves to hold
her, and Bailey just
seems to love it! She cries when he puts her down, so most
of the time she can be
found snuggled up to Ben's neck. She cries when she's
alone, but I'm hoping that will
get better as she gets used to the house and her
crate. I'm taking her to my vet on
Monday just
to make sure she's doing okay with the adjustment in surroundings.
Is there
anything that I should ask when we're there? Thank you so very much.
She is perfect! Sarah
4/8/05
Hi Marcy,
Thank you again for Bailey! She is growing so fast! Our
vet was amazed by how small she was, and
she has handled all of her shots just
fine! She is one of the most intelligent puppies; she has
outsmarted us many
times! I was wanting to send you some pictures of her, and I didn't know
how
you would want them sent. Let me know, and I'll try to get them to you as soon
as I can!
Thanks again, Sarah and Ben

Hi Marcy,
Yankee is the best dog ever!
I like taking her to school. All my friends say
she’s so cute. She knows
‘shake’, ‘sit’, ‘stay & come’, working on her ‘fetch’.
Potty training is getting
better. Sometimes she remembers to ring the bell to
go outside. She weighs 4.5
pounds now. I have sent some pictures for you.
As you can see, she doesn’t take
anything from her larger cousin, Hershey.
